Studio Membership For june

• Open to anyone who has taken a class with us (or has equivalent experience)

• Access the studio 24/7 to create, check member page for best practice times & door code

• Perfect if you need more flexibility than a fixed class time or want to take a month to practice what you learned in class

• No outside clays allowed. Outside glaze allowed only with prior permission. No production/high volume work.

june wheel workshop: sort it out

• Perfect if you’re struggling with any part of the throwing process - centering, pulling even/straight walls that go in the direction you want it to, reclaiming your clay, using your tools, getting more clay out of the bottom of your pot

• Get help troubleshooting what’s not quite going right

• Highly recommend for Beginners/Advanced Beginners (or if you’re having trouble centering or pulling)

• $35 for 3 hours of instruction on the wheel

Beginning wheel cups & mugs, sunday nights

• Perfect for anyone who took the Bowls class and wants to complete the Beginning Wheel Curriculum

• Class dates: 4 Sunday nights in June from 7pm to 9pm (on June 1st, 8th, 15th and the last class will be on June 22nd). Remember that this class comes with a free studio membership that lasts until the last day of the month.This allows you to come in outside of class and practice, which is the ONLY way to get better.

Beginning Wheel Bowls, Thursday Mornings

• First of all.. Rob is Teaching this Month! He has been throwing & teaching for over 2 decades and can really help support you on your pottery journey. He never teaches beginner, so this is a great opportunity!

• Perfect for anyone who took the Cups & Mugs class and wants to complete the Beginning Wheel Curriculum

• Class dates: 4 Thursday Mornings in June from 10am to noon (on June 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th). Remember that this class comes with a free studio membership that lasts until the last day of June. This allows you to come in outside of class and practice & get better!

all-levels handbuilding with caryn, Monday Mornings

• Perfect for anyone who is curious about handbuildng, or wants to continue on with handbuilding.

• Caryn will be on vacation for July, so just a head’s up in case you wanted to get into her class this month!

• Class Dates: 4 Monday mornings in June from 10am to noon (on June 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd), but your free studio membership will run until the last day of the month. 

• What will I learn?: This class will cover the basic and intermediate skills of handbuilding. Projects will be student-led with plenty of inspiration for any who need it. Possibilities range from functional pots to sculptures.

Advanced Beginning Wheel: Plates, Serving Bowls & Better Trimming, Monday Nights 

• Class Dates: 4 Monday nights in June from 7-9pm (on June 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd), but your free studio membership will run until the last day of the month. 

• Perfect for anyone who has taken Throwing Bigger OR who has taken both Beginning Wheel classes.

• Prerequisites for this class: Completion of both Beginner Wheel Cups & Mugs and Beginner Wheel Bowls, or the equivalent experience.

• What you’ll learn: How to make plates, larger serving bowls and how to trim your pieces more fluidly to give your work a finished look. You’ll be practicing moving more clay and gaining confidence creating larger work.

Int/adv wheel with kyle, tuesday nights

• Perfect for anyone who’s ready to push their skills and wants a more open format class.

• Class Dates: 4 Tuesday nights in June from 7-9pm (on June 3rd, 10th, 17th, & 24th). Remember that this class comes with a free studio membership that lasts until the last day of the month.

• Prerequisites for this class: You must be able to center, pull basic forms, glaze & trim without assistance. We will not be covering foundational techniques in this class.

• What you’ll do: Class projects are varied and open-ended, with students able to suggest what they’d like to learn.

• Perfect for anyone who’s ready to push their skills and wants a class where they can suggest projects.

• Class Dates: 4 Wednesday mornings in June from 10:30am to noon thirty (on June 4th, 11th, 18th, & 25th). Remember that this class comes with a free studio membership that lasts until the last day of the month.

• Prerequisites for this class: You must be able to center, pull basic forms, glaze & trim without assistance. We will not be covering foundational techniques in this class.
