Early Registration for march
Registration opens for everyone else on the 15th at 7am, so take advantage of this early registration period if you want to ensure you snag a spot for March. Beginning Classes tend to book up quickly (especially in the winter) so, if you’d like to continue, go ahead and register early.
After you book, MAKE SURE YOU CAN FIND YOUR REGISTRATION EMAIL. In that email, under the section “Messages” is all your class info as well as the Member Page link for March. It won’t go switch to the March info until the 1st, but you’ll need to be able to find it to know all that’s happening for the month, the link to the zine, the door code (please don’t share with anyone!), practice times, free stuff, studio news….everything.

free march meetups!
Coffee Talk - Saturday, March 21st at 11am. Every month, we get together for free coffee (hence the name, haha) and learning about a new topic. This month, we’ll be demoing & discussing ways to use BOTH handbuilding & the wheel in the same project, which means more interesting and dynamic work. Bring a mug if you want some coffee.
The Good Dirt Design Salon - Saturday, March 14th at 11am. We’ll be brewing up some coffee, sharing some snacks, and chatting about the elements of art and design and how that can help your pottery (and other artistic endeavors). This month we’ll be talking about some compositional frameworks to orchestrate your designs around and considerations for 3D work. If you want to come, please do! Bring a mug, a piece if you’d like to participate in a critique, or just come listen and hang out.
Good Dirt Pottery Throwdown. Every other month, we have a new topic to challenge you and your creativity, a la The Great Pottery Throwdown on BBC. We have a reveal meetup and celebration, hang out, have snacks, look at how everyone interpreted the challenge topic, and have the chance to ask each other questions about any techniques, etc we used. Any level of potter and any type of creating is welcome - from sculpture to the wheel. And you can come hang out even if you don’t feel ready to make something yet. April’s topic & reveal party date will be determined at the February meetup and updated on the March member page once we know (come to the February meetup 2/18 at 8pm if you want and help us vote on the next topic!)
