Going strong since 1997, Good Dirt Clay Studio offers all ages and abilities the chance to explore their creative (and sometimes, messy!) side. Though some folks still think of us in that iconic building downtown, we moved to 485 Macon Highway two years ago and love our space. Code-controlled access means students can drop in and practice anytime day or night safely and air-conditioning and heat mean it's so much more comfortable than our other space. We offer all kinds of experiences and commitment levels- from one-time "Try Clay" classes where you can take a single class on the wheel or handbuilding, to parties and workshops geared to a project you'd like to make, to our 8-week classes on and off the wheel that come with unlimited studio time as a bonus. Whether you're serious about learning the art of ceramics or just looking for a fun, creative outlet, Good Dirt provides a safe, nurturing environment to explore all aspects of clay art.
